The key to become better, faster, and stronger during your sports season isn’t just in the miles you log or the weights you lift … it’s in the kitchen. When you tear down your muscles during training (or the day of competition) without giving them the nutrients to rebuild, strength and power are the first things to go. And to make matters worse, the losses are spread unevenly throughout the body, creating muscular imbalances that can put you on the fast track for injury. Understand your unique requirements that help maintain strength, speed, power, and endurance while preserving a healthy immune system and body weight.
Performance Nutrition and Your Individual Plan
If we understood that we as individuals, not patients, have the final word and ability to stay healthy – it would begin to solve the “healthcare crisis” and potentially eliminate the need for many expensive medications and surgeries.
